Black Friday promises growth in e-commerce
voltarAccording to the Brazilian Electronic Commerce Association (Abcomm), the Black Friday in 2018 should be responsible for a revenue of R$ 2.87 billion by the electronic commerce in Brazil. This represents an increase of 16% over the previous year.
The Association expects online retail sites to receive more than 8.8 million orders between November 22 and 23. After Christmas, this is the most important date for the industry.
The survey points out that about 33% of the orders will be placed in anticipation of Christmas shopping. “With this scenario, many online stores are already preparing their inventories, expecting an aggressive sales pace,” the Association president, Mauricio Salvador, said in a statement.
The most sought after product categories are computing, smartphones, electronics, fashion and accessories, and home and decor.
