Commerce sees slight growth in September sales
voltarThe Trade Movement Indicator prepared by Boa Vista SCPC (a Central Credit Protection Service) showed that Brazilian retail sales increased 0.5% in September, in the monthly comparison.
For the 12-month period, the indicator rose 3.9% (October 2017 until September 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year). On the other hand, in comparison with September of the previous year, retail sales grew 2.7%.
The report concludes that there are few signs of improvement in the economic scenario, therefore retail trade is expected to remain stagnant until the end of the year.
