South Korea faced constant political conflicts. Without the Portuguese language skills, the Lee family came to Brazil and settled in São Paulo.

Seven years after arriving in the country, the family already had two jewelry stores in the city: Poppy Art & Bijoux.

After completing the Business Administration course at University of São Paulo, Jae Ho Lee met the Franchising system - at the time, not yet widespread in Brazil.

1992 - Jin Jin Chinese Fast Food

Jae deeply studied the franchise system and in 1992 decided to found the Jin Jin Chinese Fast Food, which in 2007 repositioned and changed its name to Jin Jin Wok Gastronomia Asiática. In 2012, the network reached 20 years old.

The family experience with the retail jewelry and accessories gave birth to Morana, the first franchise network of fine jewelry, which celebrated in 2012, a decade of success.

2007 - Balonè

After market research, the family decides to create the accessories network, Balonè, which in 2015 went on to change the name to Balonè Fashion Bijoux to strengthen its concept of fast fashion brand.

Grupo Ornatus opens the first store of Morana network in Portugal.

Creation of the first Japanese cuisine fast food in the franchise market: Jin Jin Sushi.

To be able to enter markets that alone it could not, the brands Balonè, Imaginarium and Puket came together and created a co-branding: Love Brands. The network focuses on cities with up to 250,000 inhabitants.

The Group has become a partner of Agiset Marketing & Packaging, a graphical company serving the franchise market with specialized services for the segment.

2012 - Little Tokyo
2012 - Little Tokyo

The Grupo Ornatus creates Little Tokyo, a casual dining restaurant concept for gourmet areas of shopping centers.

After a trip to Europe, Jae Ho Lee was approached by Sandes Company, who wanted to bring the brand to Brazil. The network arrived under the name MySandwich in 2014 and became 100% owned by Grupo Ornatus.

Grupo Ornatus strengthens the internationalization plan of Morana and opens a unit in Los Angeles (USA).

Morana opens two more operations in the United States: Orlando and Houston.

Merger of Jin Jin Wok, Jin Jin Sushi and MySandwich to the J.Alves group, holder of brands Griletto and Montana Express, and to G5 Evercore Private Equity, forming the Halipar - Holding de Alimentação e Participações.
