After three consecutive decreases at trading floors, the US currency exchange rate closed the day (4) up 0.22%, at R$ 3.8960. The Central Bank carried out traditional foreign exchange swaps without conducting any future auction of the dollar.
The B3 index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) closed the trading session at a low of 0.38%, with 82,952 points. Securities from major companies, such as Petrobras, ended the day up 0.97%, Bradesco rose to 0.48% and Itaú increased by 0.11%.
